Hello! I'm Ria, a third-generation Leuven native. Born in Leuven, a student (now an alumni) at our Alma Mater, married in Leuven's beautiful town hall, and a city guide Leuven, accredited by Tourism Flanders, for about 10 years. Passionate about history, I started, two years after completing my guide training and 40 years after my first period at the Faculty of Medicine a bachelor's degree in history.

I'd love to take you on a guided tour of Leuven's must-see sights, or a guided tour with a compelling theme. In the 10 years I've been a city guide, I've developed several, each tour with equal passion for Leuven, each packed with interesting facts, anecdotes, and captivating stories.

Besides being a Leuven city guide, I'm also one of the regular guides for ABInbev for brewery tours, for VRT for visits to the TV- and radio studios and for the University Library Leuven for visits there.
