This walk tells the story of the Leuven botanical garden. It tells the story of the current botanical garden, with its magnificent orangery and rich display of plants, flowers, and trees. But the walk also brings the original botanical garden in the Minderbroederstraat to life: how it came into being, its connection to Leuven University, the purpose of its creation, and much more.
This walk showcases the splendor of the current botanical garden and takes you back to the pharmaceutical roots of the first botanical garden.
