This walk takes you through Leuven's flamboyant and at times debaucherous music scene. It tells the story of three majestic music and theater halls, all built in the 19th century; it tells the story of the "Académie des Beaux Arts de Louvain" in the former Driutius college; it tells the story of the choral singers; it tells the story of Charles de Bériot and Bernardine Hamaekers. This walk tells and shows Leuven with a musical perspective as its central theme.
You can participate in a scheduled public tour (€10/person) or you can book your own tour on a date of choice (€10/person - minimum €100).
